Launch of Mota-Engil Group’s 2023 Sustainability Brochure

This week, the Mota-Engil Group, SUMA’s shareholder, launched its innovative 2023 Sustainability Brochure. This document, which complements the 2023 Integrated Report, marks an important step by consolidating financial and sustainability information into a single comprehensive report for the first time.

The new brochure reflects the Mota-Engil Group’s ongoing commitment to sustainability, as set out in ‘Building 26 | For a Sustainable Future’. In line with the recent sustainability reporting guidelines (CSRD), the brochure integrates financial and sustainability data for the 2023 financial year, highlighting the Group’s long-term strategy and its efforts towards a more sustainable future.

With the purpose ‘Our Legacy Inspires and Commits Us to Building a Better World’, the 2023 Sustainability Brochure highlights the Group’s performance in relation to its strategic objectives. Among the main highlights are a detailed analysis of the goals and objectives achieved, as well as projects and programmes that have had a significant impact on sustainability and social responsibility. Local initiatives that demonstrate the Group’s commitment to the communities where it operates are also highlighted.

This launch reflects Mota-Engil’s dedication to providing transparency and accountability in business practices and the intention to share with its stakeholders not only the Group’s successes, but also the challenges and lessons learnt along the way.
