ECOVISION at the ISWA 2023 world congress

ECOVISION, a company owned by SUMA, took part in the ISWA – International Solid Waste Association World Congress, held in the Middle East, in Oman, between 30 October and 1 November.

As a sponsoring organisation, in addition to presenting its profile and innovative technical solutions applied to the complete life cycle management of waste to professionals in the sector – through a dedicated stand – the company was also highlighted at the opening ceremony.

The projection of the ECOVISION brand was part of a wider action that included SUMA, EGF and Mota-Engil Ambiente, in a programme of high professional and strategic level, which included meetings, moderation of thematic sessions, participation in the institution’s general assembly, and technical visits with the national entities of this sultanate.

Oman Environmental Services Holding Co. SAOC – be’ah, a government company, was the main host and organiser of the conference, and is also ECOVISION’s main client in the South Al Sharqiya region and the Mawht Municipality.

The event was attended by environmental companies linked to the management and treatment of solid urban waste based in the Middle East, specialists, professionals and university professors, members of the Omani government, among others, such as Saudi Arabia, creating commercial and networking opportunities based on the technological potential and expertise in the area.
The ECOVISION exhibition area was visited by the be’ah administration and team, representatives of the Omani government, as well as the CEO of the Saudi Investment Recycling Company from Saudi Arabia, who was able to highlight the waste management organisational model implemented in Oman and the experience gained in various components and geographies.
