19.07.2019
The first joint initiative between SUMA and the Municipality of Nazare was marked by the success of mobilizing and raising awareness among hundreds of people in a peaceful protest walk against the abandonment of pets and the duty to maintain levels of urban cleanliness by their owners.
This “Cãominhada”, which brought together the municipal executive, residents and their four-legged friends, paraded through the main arteries of the village of Nazare, on Saturday, July 13, always chanting slogans, such as “More neatness on the sidewalk o whole year! ” and “Adopting in the kennel is a barile idea!”, leaving no one indifferent to its passage and reinforcing the importance of the hygiene aspect, through the qualitative distribution of bags with appropriate bags for removing canine waste from the roads.
The promotion of the theme extended into the afternoon, with several moments of fun entertainment and street games, which served as a pretext for the dissemination of content and the consolidation of shared responsibilities in the management of small garbage produced in public space, and which had as a result of the responsible adoption of some of the animals that the municipal kennel/cattery moved to the site.
