SUMA distinguished with excellence awards

The celebration of SUMA’s 25th anniversary is reinforced by the award of two awards for business excellence.

Internationally, the organization was recognized as “Best Waste Management & Collection Company – Portugal” by the Business Excellence Awards, evaluated by an independent panel of judges, which includes experts in the area and winners of previous editions of the event.

At the national level, SUMA has been ratified, for the third consecutive year, as a “Trusted Brand – Environment”, in the “Waste Treatment Companies” category, which, as an award directly voted by a significant sample of the Portuguese population, is revealing the relationship between the quality standards of the operations and the trust established in the partnerships in which SUMA is a part.

The most recent awards, in addition to previous awards in the areas of management, innovation and excellence in interventions, reiterate the recognition of the commitment and role assumed by SUMA in maintaining the quality of life of the populations, with regard to waste, and its attitude of proximity, with residents and client municipalities, which, in some cases, total almost as many years of partnership as those of SUMA’s existence.
